Clinical profile

I am a licensed physician and specialist in neurology with a PhD from Lund University, Sweden. I completed both my specialist training and doctoral research at the Department of Neurology, Skåne University Hospital (SUS) in Malmö/Lund.

My academic work focused on advanced neuroimaging in neuropsychiatric lupus. I have maintained a strong clinical and scientific interest in neuroinflammation, with research spanning brain connectivity, white matter changes, and imaging biomarkers in systemic autoimmune disease. Clinical experience

Until 2018 I worked at the Department of Neurology at Skåne University Hospital in Malmö/Lund.

I then continued my clinical work at Clínica Juaneda in Palma de Mallorca, where I gained experience in an international healthcare setting with a broad patient population.

Since 2020, I have been working independently, focusing on person-centred neurological care with continuity, clinical depth, and long-term follow-up.

Clinical focus

I work with a broad range of neurological conditions, including headache disorders, neuroinflammatory diseases, and more complex or unclear presentations.

A significant part of my work involves patients seeking second opinions or further clarification when symptoms are multifactorial or not yet fully explained.

My clinical perspective is broad, which I find particularly valuable when assessing conditions that require integration across different systems and domains.

My work is guided by careful clinical reasoning, structured thinking, and a strong interest in the individual patient’s narrative.

I am particularly drawn to complex clinical situations where symptoms do not fit neatly into predefined categories, and where time, reflection, and continuity are essential for understanding.

Each case is approached with curiosity and structure, with the aim of identifying underlying patterns while supporting patients throughout the diagnostic and therapeutic process.
